Tracing vs Drawing Before I start, I should say I think what art is. Art can mean anything to anyone.
It can mean freedom of expression, appeals to the senses or emotions, to express Creativity,
a possible career choice and just something you do when you are bored. To me, and probaly a lot of others on here,
all the above is the right choice. You can ask what is art and you will get over thousands of answers.
One answer that might get applaud and booed, tracing is not an art form.
If you are a begginner, do not listen to those who say that tracing is a way to learn how to draw.
As an artist, You should duplicate subjects, not duplicating the picture
